If you have experience working with the public or have skills in sales, marketing, social media or public relations, our society has many rewarding volunteer roles available. Join us and help the society educate our community on the important role hospice plays to members of our community.
Anyone who is a friend of hospice can help us raise funds!
Students can host bake sales and car washes, others can plan a day of giving at their workplace. Families can organize a single or multiple family yard sale. Groups of friends or service groups can create special sporting events such as walks, hikes, bike rides and golf tournaments or larger community events such as car rallies, garden tours, auctions, and other social events. There are many unique ways to get involved and raise funds to support hospice programs and services.
This interesting and challenging role involves applying to private, provincial and federal organizations for grants and sponsorships. This role would be very rewarding for a candidate who has report writing skills, some familiarity on how the grant application process works and is detail oriented.
