We hear it all the time “I’d love to help but I don’t know how?” Many of our supporters don’t have time to volunteer, others fear they aren’t suited to provide compassionate care to critically ill individuals. Don’t worry, there are many ways you can support hospice.
Cash donations give us the most flexibility as it allows us to direct funds to high demand programs and enables us to offer our services free of charge to clients, family and community members.
Many volunteers offer their skills and professional services to the society. Businesses have donated new equipment, groceries, appliances and complimentary building materials and numerous trades people have contributed hours of free labour to help with our building maintenance and repairs.
Of significant benefit are fundraising events organized by members of the community, local businesses and service groups with proceeds donated to our society.
